Following Completion of Diamond Grind Prep and Crack/Surface Repair

We start by preparing the floor by diamond grinding the concrete surface using a commercial machine with an integral dust recovery system. A process that profiles and cleans the concrete for optimal floor adhesion. It is a dust-free process, as our equipment is attached to a vacuum that suctions the dust as it’s created. Diamond grinding the floors is the best method of preparing the concrete surface as it reduces moisture, while also creating optimal adherence by allowing the epoxy to seep into the concrete slab. Next we repair holes and cracks in the concrete slab with a concrete patching compound.

Optional Per Moisture Reading

Optional per moisture reading we can apply a moisture sealer to reduce elevated vapor emissions rates and relative humidity.

Many Blends to Choose From

While epoxy is still wet we add client selected full decorative vinyl flakes. Apart from being decorative, these provide the floor with more protection and durability. The flakes also make the floor less slippery by adding traction to the floor.

UV Stable Polyaspartic

For the finishing touch, we apply a high performance Polyaspartic topcoat. It cures to a high gloss, and is UV stable, chemical resistant, impact & abrasion resistant, and non-yellowing topcoat.
